Calling on Paramedics, Nurses, experienced First Aid Trainers. Seeking dynamic, enthusiastic, passionate trainers to deliver First Aid courses.

Work part-time hours and get full-time pay! $50 – $60 per hour


Deliver First Aid Training at venues or client’s premises

Successful applicants must have:

  • Paramedical, Emergency Nursing, Military Medicine or other direct experience in the emergency medical field – We want people that have real hands-on experience!
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110 (willing to upgrade to TAE40116 before 1 July)
  • Reliable vehicle and willing to travel
  • Laptop computer

Current Qualifications (Certificates) or willing to obtain: 

  • Provide First Aid (HLTAID003)
  • Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID004)
  • Provide Advanced First Aid (HLTAID006)
  • Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel (UETTDRRF06B)

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent people/communication skills and pleasant customer service
  • Good time management skills
  • Passionate/confident trainers who want to make a difference in people’s lives through teaching First Aid
  • Good computer skills

Successful applicants must:

  • Present well.
  • Have availability to work at least 3 days between Monday and Saturday. This job will also suit trainers already working for other First Aid providers and looking for additional casual work.

Fluid First Aid is passionate about creating exceptional learning experiences in first aid and work safety, so learners save time, have fun and leave confident!

We are looking to grow our team of  first aid trainers in Brisbane who share our passion for effective, fun and practical training.  This role will require you to work largely autonomously on and off site, but also be part of our friendly, inclusive team.

You will be required to:

  • Deliver fast-paced fun practical-based first aid training sessions for small to large groups as part of our blended online and face-to-face training programs
  • Set up and pack away the training room
  • Conduct a risk assessment of the training environment on a per session basis and implement control measures to ensure everyone’s safety
  • Ensure there is adequate equipment for each task and number of learners that is clean and presentable for students to use
  • Be approachable, answer questions and build rapport with students to establish a relaxed, supportive and inspiring learning environment
  • Accurately assess each learner skills and knowledge against the stated minimum requirements and support them to obtain competency if reasonably possible
  • Travel to client workplace locations and Fluid First Aid training centres for training
  • Sign in to our online trainer dashboard and complete electronic sign off of successful learners’ practical assessment items in a timely manner


To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Be learner focused, valuing the learning needs of each individual and tailoring your training approach to suit
  • Have obtained a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Up to date First Aid competencies in HLTAID001, HLTAID003, HLTAID004 as a minimum; LVR (UETTDRRF06B), Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management and other Advanced units highly desirable.
  • Show enthusiasm to be up to date with the latest first aid techniques and methods
  • Your own set of manikins and other first aid equipment (Highly desirable)
  • To work mostly autonomously but also within a team
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • To be able to develop positive relationships with people, and sometimes defuse hostile situations
  • Be able to undertake work as a contractor with your own ABN, Public Liability and Indemnity insurance and issue invoices for payment
