Replacing lungs in training mannequin's

Hi all

What is the general consensus on how often/frequency of replacing training mannequin's lungs?

Hi Darren.

As the old saying goes, "as per manufacturer's instructions"

Each manikin manufacturer will advise on the infection control requirements for their manikins, including changing consumables.

Hi Darren,

I change mine each & every time, as i borrowed manikins from another educator previously, lungs were full of mould!

This was located from a FAQ for Prestan

"How often should I change the face-shield/lung-bag?

The face-shield/lung-bag is a consumable item and should be replaced after each class. "

I always changed lungs after each class. What is everyone's opinion of using freezer bags pushed into the manikin heads instead of using lungs?
